Profile

Andy is a seasoned U.S. international tax expert and a co-founder and senior partner of Murison Arbor. With nearly 20 years of experience, Andy advises global families, entrepreneurs, and multinational businesses across financial services, life sciences, private equity, technology, and industrial sectors.

Andy’s practice spans U.S. cross-border tax analysis, complex reporting, and international tax structuring. He is highly experienced with Foreign Tax Credits, CFC/PFIC regimes, repatriation planning, income sourcing, withholding rules, tax treaties, and Subpart F. He has guided clients through landmark changes under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), including GILTI and global entity-level reforms.

Widely known for staying closely attuned to emerging legislation, Andy is often a front-runner in interpreting and presenting new U.S. tax rules—such as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA)—to help clients anticipate impacts and plan proactively.

Andy also specializes in global information reporting, sensitive tax examinations, and penalty mitigation, including streamlined foreign offshore procedures and delinquent international information return submissions.

Before founding Murison Arbor, Andy held management roles at Ernst & Young (National Office), Citigroup, and AIG, where he built a strong technical foundation in corporate and international tax.
